3 Million Tonnes on PM 5

On 2 September, our Paper Machine 5 produced its three-millionth tonne of corrugated linerboard. Congratulations to the PM 5 team!

PM 5 was converted in 2016 from a newsprint paper machine into a machine for corrugated linerboard. It is used to produce our uncoated packaging paper, LEIPA Classic White. The product is marketed nationally and, above all, internationally, and is available in grammages ranging from 100 to 160 g/m².

PM 5 has a trimmed working width of 850 cm and a maximum production speed of 1,200 m/min. Production capacity stands at 450,000 t/a.
