Artificial intelligence and highly sought-after notebooks

Last week, the largest German-language congress for the pulp and paper industry took place. Of course, LEIPA was not to be missed at the eighth Symposium of Paper Engineers in Darmstadt.

 

 

As part of the presentation of sustainable success concepts for the paper industry, our CIO and shareholder Robin Huesmann, together with his co-speaker Oliver Lambertz (Tomra Sorting GmbH), gave interesting insights into the use of AI in the sorting of recovered paper to improve sorting results in quality and quantity.

 

Our chic notebooks from our own production turned out to be highly sought-after congress souvenirs: Every third participant used them for their notes at the symposium and took them home with them.
