EcoVadis - The global standard for sustainability ratings
Since its foundation in 2007, EcoVadis has established itself as the leading independent platform for sustainability ratings. With its comprehensive methodology, the rating agency evaluates companies based on internationally recognised standards. The assessment is based on strict criteria and is carried out by independent experts, which emphasises the high credibility of the certification.

Added value through transparent sustainability assessment
An EcoVadis assessment provides companies with valuable insights into their sustainability performance in four core areas: Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. This comprehensive analysis makes it possible to specifically identify potential for improvement and further develop your own sustainability strategy. In today's business world, a positive EcoVadis rating is increasingly becoming a decisive competitive advantage. More and more customers and partners are attaching importance to companies that operate in a demonstrably sustainable manner, which has a positive impact on business relationships and sales development.

Our development: from silver to platinum
We are particularly pleased that LEIPA Georg Leinfelder GmbH was able to significantly improve the sustainability performance compared to the previous year. With the silver medal in 2023, we reached the 91st percentile, which already put us in the top 10% of all companies assessed by EcoVadis. This year, we were able to improve significantly once again and achieved platinum status with the 99th percentile. Particularly noteworthy are our improvements in the areas of labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement, where we were able to make significant progress. We were also able to maintain our already excellent score in the area of the environment at a consistently high level.

Sustainability as a continuous process
The platinum award confirms the path we have taken, but is also an incentive for us to continue to improve. We will continue to work closely with EcoVadis in the future and continuously develop our sustainability strategy. Our aim is to achieve top performance in all assessment areas and to further expand our contribution to a more sustainable economy.
