Why LEIPA Synergy?

This project brings together not only the two innovative companies OutNature and LEIPA, but also straw and waste paper fibres. The result is genuine synergy. The jointly developed straw paper is now called ‘LEIPA Synergy’.

The name also stands for the strong connection between the two companies and describes the result when technical expertise and alternative, plant-based raw material sources come together. While LEIPA has been setting standards as a specialist in recycled materials for decades, OutNature contributes its expertise in alternative fibre sources.

Initial test results confirm the potential of this combination: the strength properties of straw fibres significantly exceed those of conventional waste paper fibres. LEIPA Synergy thus offers technical stability that is impressive compared to fresh fibre-based paper grades.

The first marketable LEIPA Synergy is scheduled to be produced in early 2027. It will lay the foundation for a new generation of packaging materials.
