A group of companies with an international customer base
What began in 1847 with Michael Leinfelder’s acquisition of a paper mill in Schrobenhausen has been steadily developing into what is today the LEIPA Group: a renowned European player in the paper & packaging industry with a worldwide base of customers. With more than 1,400 employees LEIPA Group currently generates annual sales of around 800 million euros.
LEIPA processes annually over 1.3 million tons of recovered paper into paper and packaging solutions of the highest quality. A passion for innovative processes and technologies since 1847 – this is the solid foundation of the success story of LEIPA Group.
“LEIPA is one of very few companies that lives up to its responsibility for the environment, the region and its workforce with conscience, commitment and its own high standards, and has never disowned its regional roots, neither in Bavaria nor the Uckermark district.”
Matthias Platzeck, former Chairman of the Board of LEIPA
